QUICK GUIDE ON HOW TO USE CLOSEPEOPLE

Press Release - How Closepeople Works - Tips

Registration

The steps are simple and safe. First, go to our REGISTRATION AREA, choose your username and password.

Now, you are ready to give us your “Life Footprints”; this is information that all people that have been in touch with you may know: first name, last name, birth date, gender and birth country. Only this information is visible to the people who are looking for you. We will also ask you for an email address, information about your family, jobs and education, which will not be visible to others and of course, we will never ask you for sensitive nor confidential information about you such as addresses, phone number, financial information, and so on.

Search Engine

Once the form is completely filled out you are already a part of Closepeople.com. When someone looks for you, he/she has to fill out a similar form and if that person knows enough about you, he/she will find you for sure: friends, family, classmates or workmates from any time of your life. You never know who’s looking for you.

If you want to search for a person, go to Search Area (Click on Search button). In the end when you get the search results (ordered by relevance according to your search terms), if the person you are looking for is already a part of Closepeople, he/she will appear for sure.

What you have to do now is to send that person a request, explaining who you are and asking to accept your request in order to become one of your contacts. You can have as many contacts as you want.

Messaging

Once accepted, you will be able to use Closepeople’s Messaging Service in order to keep in touch with people you really know. Thinking always about you, we never limit the number of messages you can have stored in our site.

Edit your Life Footprints

You can edit your Life Footprints easily. Please connect to your account; click on your profile button; click on the "Edit" link in your Life Footprints area; make your changes and click on the "Save" button when done.
